Explore our story of the grove.
Built on an unused pine forest planted in the 1960s as the original border of the property. The Citrus Grove was about making use of space better and reusing the resources already on the property.
The Story
The Story
The Citrus Grove started as the Pine Forest. While it was a magical place, it served no practical purpose. The trees, although beautiful were coming to the end of their lives and had began falling down.
We took it upon ourselves to pull them down and reuse the timber to create timber planked terraces. It was important that nothing left the property. What wasn't used as planks was buried for Hügelkultur in each terrace.
